‼️🚨Breaking News

@MMuizzu government has erased/deleted expatriate report from all online websites and databases after @AdhadhuMV journalist @aaaaaidh brought it to the nation’s attention through today’s press conference that govt is now allowing unskilled workers from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 to Maldives 🇲🇻 illegally against the 100,000 quota already stated in the law.

According to that report there are already 139,220 expatriates from Bangladesh living in Maldives which makes it illegal to bring in any more unskilled workers from Bangladesh. The maximum limit for any country is set at 100,000.

I urge @faya_i @MDPSecretariat to issue a statement regarding this as soon as possible.
