@jinad_ali WAMCO will need to be reformed or removed from the equation entirely. My view is that they are the weakest link in the chain now due to the highly politicized nature. The funds being poured into them if poured into councils we'd have solved waste management already.

@jinad_ali Ideally this will pair with solid bins for food waste that have lids which pests and cats won't get into + the bags for segregated waste.

Measure is that it will only leave the house when it's full or when household wants to have it picked up.

Now bring more transparency to TT USD support. The USD taken from tourism establishments for citizens sake…. Not USD earned by BML.

Who gets the USD? How much? And why?

Publish the criteria and the recipients.

We need transparency and accountability to stop insiders, including certain BML board members ( they know who they are) and MPs from abusing the system to send USD to Malaysia & other destinations through fake TT transactions & USD support

Well, @muththo Malé’s reef wasn’t as lucky as the bridge.

Shame that despite knowing that the anchor had snapped, authorities were unable to intervene and simply watched on as the vessels scraped along Malé’s northeastern reef before crashing into the China-Maldives Friendship Bridge.

Hoping to see @MaleCitymv and mayor @adamazim take quick action to survey and quantify the damage, together with NGOs, marine experts and other relevant stakeholders. I have little confidence that the toothless @ERA_Maldives will act with the urgency this requires.

Who takes responsibility for the damage caused to Malé’s already degraded reef??!

This is a further restriction of online card transactions by BML. So what was the point of increasing the mandatory USD exchange from 20% to 40% if the public isn't getting any benefit?
