@JillianWeise@perry_fleur That's amazing! And strange (again) as I was going to say "Kidborg" as I've been a cripborg since age 2 & couldn't articulate what it was like as a Kidborg 35 years ago. Also maybe "Kintense"? an intense bond/understanding among some crips & borgs whether friends or strangers?
@JillianWeise Yay! I'll think of some more! 😀
I received an art grant last year to finally work on it 🙌🏽 May I DM you about the project tomorrow (It's almost 2am in London & painsomnia is kicking my butt!)?
As a quad-marginalised artist I'm wary of sharing it publicly due to past experiences
@JillianWeise Kinborgs? I call my close Crip friends my "CripKins", and that just made me think of "Kinborgs" as a term for me/my cripborg friends, or even a community of cripborgs! (I've been slowly working on an art project for the last 5yrs that strangely kinda connects to your dictionary!)

Compared with NHS or education system we haven’t made social care a big enough priority. Disabled and older people don’t get the social care they need and we need to address working conditions and training for staff, and lack of support for unpaid carers. https://t.co/91DmW6j1n1
Actor @jilly_peppa: if we have films like this, where we're humanizing us...having joyous stories, it makes such a huge change...live and dream and do things that don't necessarily have to be hindered by society's ableist views. @Flickerfest@Slamdance

Don’t ever confuse the way the world feels about disability with how you should feel about yourself.
