Thank you to Franz and Lars and the entire Tesla and SpaceX team for trusting my team and I to design and broadcast the story of the first ever production flying car - Tesla Roadster!

One of the most logistically challenging live shows out there.

10 months of planning was worth every ounce of effort!

@AmirHadiEng they built a flying car and still had time to hand out matching scooters like conference swag

[Amir hadi @AmirHadiEng]

@EvasTeslaSPlaid People would of said AI/SI if we didn't have the live event

[Amir hadi @AmirHadiEng]

@woodhaus2 Everything came out amazing Franz, Cheers

Tesla Trends - Are you ready for Roadster Reveal!

Ready or not, here it comes!
October 15, 2026, in the Waco, Texas area (near SpaceX’s McGregor facility).

Tesla originally set the next-generation Roadster reveal/demo for October 1 in Waco, with invitations going to reservation holders (non-transferable, 21+).

It was postponed to October 15 due to severe weather (high winds, storms, flood risk) because the event must be held outdoors—consistent with a SpaceX cold-gas thruster/hover demo.X

Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026 (rescheduled from Oct. 1; confirmed by Tesla and Elon Musk on X).

Location: Waco, Texas area (about 90 minutes north of Austin/Giga Texas). Invitations specified Waco; reporting consistently links it to the outdoor setup near SpaceX’s McGregor rocket test site.

Time: Sources and Tesla’s Roadster page countdown point to roughly 6:00 p.m. Pacific (around 8:00–9:00 p.m. Eastern / early Friday in Europe).

The original Oct. 1 invite time was 5:30 p.m. PT / 8:30 p.m. ET; Tesla said additional details would follow the reschedule.

Check https://t.co/SH1LtxFFPT for the live countdown and any updates.

Tesla just updated the Roadster Easter Egg on the website.

When you flip the Roadster upside down, and adjust the photo settings, it now says:

“ ⬆️ THIS SIDE UP ⬆️ ”
