कई दिनों तक पानी में रहने से शव अब डिकम्पोज होने लगे हैं। इसलिए अब उन्हें मिट्टी में सुरक्षित रखा जाएगा। एक शव वाहन में 54 शव और मानव अंग लाए गये। किसी का हाथ नहीं है, किसी का पैर तो किसी का सिर गायब है। हर शव को एक कोड नंबर दिया गया है। उसकी फोटो, फिंगरप्रिंट और DNA सैंपल रिकॉर्ड किए जा रहे हैं, ताकि बाद में भी उसकी पहचान की जा सके।

Now it seems like the mountains are cracking up,” says Nepali journalist @kundadixit, who speaks to Democracy Now! in the wake of the catastrophic floods that hit Nepal and Tibet last week after a glacier collapsed in the Himalayan mountains.
The death toll from the catastrophic flooding in Nepal and China has gone past 1,000.
Nepal recorded 987 deaths, with 3,916 people still missing, while China has reported 16 deaths and 546 missing.

Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Shisir Khanal received a telephone call today from Hon. Anita Anand, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Canada.
During the conversation, the two Foreign Ministers discussed matters relating to the damage and destruction caused by the recent floods in Nepal.
Hon. Ms Anand expressed her deepest condolences and solidarity with the people of Nepal at this hour of grief.
Hon. Minister Mr Khanal expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government of Canada for the support of CAD 5 million and pledge of additional CAD 100 million from joint pool fund.
He added that the Government is utilising all available resources for search, rescue and relief efforts for those affected, including the missing Canadian nationals.
