साल 2003 में पार्लियामेंट्री स्टैंडिंग कमेटी ऑन फाइनेंस ने कह दिया था- IDBI बैंक में सरकार की हिस्सेदारी को 51% से नीचे नहीं घटाया जा सकता है।

उस समय देश की सत्ता में BJP थी और जसवंत सिंह वित्त मंत्री थे।

जसवंत सिंह ने लोकसभा में 08 अगस्त 2003 और राज्यसभा में 15 अगस्त 2003 को अपने भाषण में वादा किया था- हम किसी भी हालत में IDBI बैंक में हिस्से��ारी को 51% से नीचे नहीं घटाएंगे।

लेकिन भगवान राम के नाम पर चंदा चोरी करने वाली BJP अब अपना वादा तोड़ने और IDBI बैंक को बेचने पर तुली है।

IDBI बैंक घाटे में नहीं, बल्कि लगातार रिकॉर्ड मुनाफा कमा रहा है। फिर मोदी सरकार इसे बेचने पर क्यों तुली हुई है?

जरा पिछले 6 वर्षों का मुनाफा देखिए।

⦿ 2021: ₹1,359 करोड़
⦿ 2022: ₹2,439 करोड़
⦿ 2023: ₹3,645 करोड़
⦿ 2024: ₹5,634 करोड़
��� 2025: ₹7,515 करोड़
⦿ 2026: ₹9,513 करोड़

यानी 6 वर्षों में कुल ₹30,105 करोड़ का मुनाफा!

इतना ही नहीं,

⦿ बैंक का Gross NPA महज 2.32% है।
⦿ Net NPA सिर्फ 0.15% है।
⦿ बैंक की कुल संपत्ति ₹4.66 लाख करोड़ से अधिक है।
⦿ पूंजी पर्याप्तता दर 26.65% है।

इतनी मजबूत वित्तीय स्थिति के बावजूद मोदी सरकार और LIC बैंक की 60.72% हिस्सेदारी बेचने की प्रक्रिया आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं।

जिस बैंक को जनता के पैसे से संकट से बाहर निकाला गया, जो आज हजारों करोड़ रुपये का मुनाफा कमा रहा है, उसे निजी हाथों में सौंपने की इतनी जल्दबाजी क्यों?

मोदी सरकार को बताना चाहिए कि आखिर एक मुनाफे में चल रहे बैंक को बेचकर देश और जनता को क्या फायदा होगा?

“देश नहीं बिकने दूंगा” कहने वाले नरेंद्र मोदी की सरकार ने आज पूरा देश बेच दिया है।
