@Lacompactdisc@goodbadftblpod Itโs clear now, that all of Fergieโs players were tactical dinosaurs. Pep and Wenger empowered players to think on field, passing down philosophyโs, while Fergie was so controlling that his players outside his control struggle. Great manager, shit legacy.
@VTID22UTV@DailyAFC 2 reasons.
1. Fergie was the GOAT manager, but he didnโt tactically burden the players. So majority of his players are clueless in the art of adaption. They still believe football is the same as it was 20years ago.
2. Heโs basically personifying white privileged.
@CDL_Gaming@DailyAFC Letโs be honest thereโs an unconscious bias. Itโs like when Eze scored that goal, it was Foden putting it on a plate with a simple pass while Eze did something special. Wrighty is holding back here but he knows exactly what @GNev2 is thinking
@DailyAFC 1. @GNevilIe2 is a failed manager for this exact reason. 2. Saka is way more flexible and is always the one moved around. 3. Saka is way more consistent for club and country. 4. He wants Eng to do what theyโve always done. Pick overrated players. Thatโs never got them anywhere
@scrapytweets This is a life lesson to Cherki and that bottle idiot. Never celebrate too early. Yes they beat us to the League Cup, but to do that in game they needed to back it up with the title!
@Knifesedge11 In the words of Rodri. They came to our ground to nick a win. Scored a goal on the counter attack and parked the bus in a deep block. If they had tried to win the game they would have won the league. The difference is mentality. ๐
In the last three seasons, Arteta's Arsenal had Pep Guardiola's City winning the PL title twice over him & Arne Slot's Liverpool winning once.
This season, I believe we are about to see the same script โ Enzo Maresca's Chelsea winning the League over Arteta's Arsenal.
Everyone talks of the inexperienced Chelsea squad and forgets Maresca's tactical brilliance.
Chelsea is currently sitting second in the Premier League table & seventh in the Champions League table, all because of Maresca's tactical prowess.
I believe Enzo Maresca is capable of leading the Chelsea squad to win more Premier League games than Arsenal. That includes winning games against Arsenal themselves.
This weekend, we are going to see Chelsea going toe to toe with Arsenal and that's when Maresca will outsmart Arteta.
Chelsea winning games like one against Barcelona has been a huge statement more than Arsenal winning against Bayern Munich.
Enzo Maresca has also been masterful in squad rotation and ensuring good results are achieved. This has been an energy giver to the squad.
We have also seen Chelsea lose against Sunderland and win against Burnley a few games later. This has been a statement from the coach that the team can defend well and attack well against teams using a low block.
Chelsea feels comfortable at the defence with the return of CB Wesley Fofana. Others like Badiashile are already back in the squad, with Cole Palmer back in training.
It will be Arsenal vs. Chelsea for the title race. For many reasons, I think Manchester City will continue to fall short in the race.
YOU'RE SLEEPING ON CHELSEA!
