There is a reason why people say to avoid cheap and shady firms, I learned it the hard way.
@EquityEdgeUK rejected my 2200$ and 3400$ payout. Making it the 3rd and 4th rejected payout
In the below thread I will reveal what shaddy tricks they use.
alright f*ck it, here's EXACTLY how I trade CHALLENGES:
For every challenge I only have 2 goals:
1) PASS IT
2) DON’T WASTE TIME
That means taking enough risk to pass relatively fast, but NEVER so much risk that I:
a) put the account in unnecessary danger
b) get banned by the prop firm
So here’s how I approach it:
- 1.5% risk per trade
- 1:1.5–1:2 RRR
- Day trading strategy
- 50-55% win rate
- 8–12 trades a week
- Maximum 2 losses per day
- Inverse RRR 2% before hitting the target
- At -4.5% drawdown I start another challenge in parallel instead of wasting all my time trying to recover just one account
For Phase 2 it’s exactly the same but before starting Phase 2, I ALWAYS wait at least 24 hours to start fresh with max focus
Don’t get excited because you passed Phase 1 and suddenly start gambling on Phase 2
Here’s the math behind how fast it would take to pass an account on average with a 55% win rate and 1.1:5RR:
55 × +1.5R − 45 × 1R = +37.5R per 100 trades = +0.375R per trade
At 1.5% risk, that’s +0.5625% expectancy per trade.
So statistically:
- 8% Phase 1 → ~14 trades → ~7 trading days
- 4% Phase 2 → ~7 trades → ~3–4 trading days
- Both phases → ~21 trades → ~10–11 trading days
(Assuming around 2 trades per day)
Meaning in 10 trading days you‘d pass both phases
Which is a pretty good timeframe to pass.
It shouldn’t take you multiple weeks AT ALL!
Either BREACH it or PASS it…
But don’t sit in evaluation jail forever.
That’s where you waste TIME while making exactly $0.
IMPORTANT:
If you only take 1 trade a week, this blueprint makes no sense. Same if you take 20 trades a week.
Your risk exposure is just completely different…
So this blueprint specifically works around a day trading strategy with the stats I mentioned above.
(I’m going to teach my exact strategy on my YouTube channel soon)
A few other things I’ve learned after trading prop firms for 5 years:
- always pick 2step challenges
- 8% profit target and 10% max drawdown is the best combination
- pick an account size that doesn't scare you and allows you to diversify properly, but is also big enough to make the payouts worth chasing
- if you have the budget for exactly one 100k challenge, I‘d rather buy 4x 25k accounts than 1x 100k
- don’t be afraid of breaching an account, the ROI matters
Passing challenges isn’t NOT gambling
It’s about having a repeatable system where the math is in your favor and executing it over and over again
Pass challenges FAST.
Keep funded accounts LONG.

@EquityEdgeUK 1/11
But instead of deducting 37$ from my payout, @EquityEdgeUK said they will reject my complete payout, because i have received multiple warnings regarding the same incident,
I got rejected 3 times for 3 different reasons all of which were not mentioned in the FAQ.
