Just don't tweet without anything about the growth of Tamilnadu and how much efforts that governments took before
@sumanthraman Sir why are we focusing on this news. We have a large number of issues going around our country. We can focus on those issues which affects our democracy.
@vettrioffl Following strong state protests, the NMC finally scrapped the ban in April 2026, paving the way for the recent July seat approvals! 🏥⚖️ #TamilNadu#MedicalSeats#TNPolitics
@vettrioffl Zero government MBBS seats were added in TN under CM Stalin (2021–2026) due to an NMC rule capping medical seats by population. TN was effectively penalized for already having excellent health infrastructure.
@TheFederal_News@LicypriyaK I noticed that the before Governments also didn't follow any white towel culture.
But this Government somehow followed the white towel culture and they portraying they have abolished it now.
The truth is there is no white towel culture after independence .
@vettrioffl By exceeding this artificial limit by nearly 4,000 seats, the state was effectively banned from opening new medical colleges or expanding existing ones.
@vettrioffl Because Tamil Nadu had consistently invested in medical education over decades, it already had over 11,000 seats for its projected population of roughly 7.6 to 8 crore. Under the new NMC math, Tamil Nadu was only "allowed" around 7,600 seats.
