My husband Cliff Derksen is speaking tomorrow 10:00 am Maplecrest church Live on the best topic ever. Here we are in the early years - product of our times. Wow - We were so young and innocent - never suspecting the life we would lead. Love you Cliff! You are an amazing man.

Ten years ago, Feb.19, 2011, It was the end of the ten-year trial process but the beginning of taking our lives back... And I'm glad we did. Thank you again for your support over the years!
Wow! 10 years ago - Feb. 19, 2011 -The Winnipeg Free Press reported that a Winnipeg jury found Mark Grant guilty in the 1984 death of Candace Derksen. Jurors in the case did not hear .etc. ... about Grant's alleged 1988 confession to killing Derksen, which he allegedly retracted.
Watching over the internet fence - windy inaugural ceremonies. Peaceful, appreciative, farewell president Trump. Sincere Congratulations President Joseph Biden. Prayers are with you as you face the challenges of governing a world trembling with pandemic anxiety. Love you all.
Farewell, 2020 - you were a hard year! You challenged us in every way. You also gave us much - we relearned what really matters!! “I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light.” — Helen Keller.

Wilma Dirksen - @AmityPublishers - is one of the bravest & most admirable people I know. Her daughter was heinously murdered, and she dedicated herself to finding out what would actually stop more people going through this hell.
She discovered the evidence that in fact lock-them-up-and-throw-away-the-key punishments, with no rehabilitation, actually increase reoffending, while punishment followed by love and support reduces reoffending.
What's on my mind? This coming book launch on Monday and the six haunting shapeshifting sculptures that will be making an awesome appearance... in our splendid garden.
