This has arguably been the hardest Premier League to win. Previous champions spending £400m in the summer. Pep buying two of the best players in the league in January. Three teams making European finals. A CL team in 17th. Fewest points between 1st and 18th in over a decade.
When Arsenal smashed Spurs 4-1 in February Peter Schmeichel was sat just at the front of the press box.
When Gyokeres scored the fourth goal Schmeichel stormed out of his seat to head down to get ready for his post match interview with steam coming out of his ears. He was fuming and clearly so, so gutted at seeing Arsenal win so well.
Any other team today, he 100% says that's clear foul and backs the keeper. Seeing him like this just makes that win feel even sweeter.
@FunnyGooner White will be ok with Saka in the team. We had a strong team that showed what they can do last game and we have a super bench to come on later. Buzzing.
I swear if Sala could stay fit for 90% of the season we would be champions right now. It so obvious he is our best player and everyone else play better with him on the team. He is world fucking class
Trying to enjoy the last moments of hope before we find out the likelihood of our season tomorrow.
Horrendous media coverage has spoiled the season for many. Just can't understand how anyone who has followed us for the last 20 years can't be thrilled to be involved in a late-April game that could decide the fate of the Premier League title race.
Toughest league in the world, and we're in a 6-pointer against Man City. This is what the big time is all about. I'm petrified, but so excited to see what the boys produce. Could be historic. About time in my opinion. Can't wait!
When you deep it, it’s actually hilarious that we’ll take this level of risk in our own box but our midfielders are petrified of playing a through ball in the opposition half
