I didn't realize how disadvantaged we are until I moved abroad.
During the last interview I attended, the CEO shared that he has been working with a major company since he was 17. By the age of 27, he already had 10 years of experience, held a senior position, and earned a substantial salary. By that age, he had also started a family and gave birth to all his kids.
In Nigeria, by the time you reach 27, you are still searching for entry-level positions or "learning a tech skill" that doesn’t truly interest you, just to make ends meet.
Bro to Bro:
Between 20 and 27, you’ll likely be broke, lost, and questioning your worth.
Your friends will flex lifestyles, and girls will chase men with money.
Stay focused. By 30, you’ll see who was really playing the long game.
Bro to Bro:
it’s already March 2025, what have you done so far this year?
This is a question you should be asking yourself every starting of a new month.
If it means shutting down social media to focus, do it. If it means investing in mentorship, pay for it. If it means cutting distractions, cut them off. Just make sure you’re not wasting this year doing nothing but scrolling for gist.
-Start that business.
-Fund that trading or crypto account.
-Take that mentorship.
-Build that skill and start that business.
-Start something today, no matter how small.
Because towards ending Q3 and Q4, you’ll see guys making moves like traveling for vacation, buying cars, securing properties.
You’ll wonder how they did it, but the truth is they started early while you were still procrastinating.
Nobody is coming to save you, my bro.
The year is moving fast, with or without you.
So the question is, what are you doing now that your future self will thank you for?
