Watching Elon Musk this week has been a fascinating character study in the saviour complex of Western tech billionaires.

They arrive in your country selling you the future. Welcome them, and you’re a country that wants progress. Make them wait, and suddenly your people are victims who need rescuing from their own institutions by the chosen one.

It’s a pattern. When Thai rescuers didn’t use the mini-submarine Musk sent for the trapped boys, and diver Vernon Unsworth called the idea impractical, Musk attacked him as the “pedo guy.”

When Brazil’s Supreme Court ordered X to comply with its rulings, Musk called the judge a “dictator.”

The script rarely changes. Only the country does.

The colonial mindset isn’t always about wanting to rule a country. Sometimes it’s the assumption that you arrive as its saviour, and if the country doesn’t immediately recognise you as one, something must be wrong with the country.

Funny how “Thank you for your attention to this matter” has become the office mic drop. No signatures, no regards — just vibes and passive authority.

World Cup Winning Captain MS Dhoni upholding Spirit of Cricket. When loud Boo's for #Thala Dhoni turned to massive respected standing ovation in a minute.
Lessons to future captains. Be like Dhoni not #ShakibAlHasan

Incident happened in 2nd Test of India tour of England in 2011, In last ball of Tea Break on day 3 when England was playing their 2nd Innings where Ian Bell was batting on 137. Ian Bell went on to hit a ball towards Praveen Kumar. His dodgy fielding made it look like a boundary though the ball stopped just a few inches before the rope. Bell who was assured of four so went towards dug out for tea and Dhoni ran him out. This angered English fans who boo-ed #IndianCricketTeam. As match resumed after tea crowd again boo-ed Umpires and Dhoni led Indian team but to their surprise #England team was giving standing ovation. To surprise of crowd Ian Bell came out to bat as Dhoni had withdrawn his appeal upholding Spirit of Game and whole crowd who Boo-ed Dhoni went on to give standing ovation to the team.

In the era of Shakib Al Hasan who Timed Out Angelo Mathews there is MSD who pulled back the appeal.

Hey @kunalb11 @CRED_club,
Not sure what “kit” I’m supposed to get. Below is all that I have received and that’s not a kit. Probably a fraud somewhere in the chain.

First bought >9% of the company. Then made an offer to buy 100% of it or he sells his 9%. The board must say yes or the share price nose dives to 20s. Got em by the balls. #TwitterTakeover #ElonMuskTwitter

Here's a paradox many traders will experience at some point:

The more skillful they get, the less attractive money becomes.

Success is no longer defined by profits, but by how well they, as traders, perform.
