The junta's response to Cyclone Mocha and Typhoon Yagi demonstrate its willingness to weaponize aid in the midst of natural disasters. The world must work with the National Unity Govt., ethnic organizations and civil society groups to reach those in desperate need.
The death toll from Myanmar’s earthquake could be between 10,000 and 100,000, the United States Geological Survey estimated. (Photo: A stream of casualties were rushed to the hospital in Naypyitaw on Mar. 28)

We are only receiving information from other towns in the region now. Sagaing is affected very badly too but the people there do not have internet access.
Junta shut down internet access in many places in Sagaing and Mandalay regions, as the resistance is very strong there.
