@rxys_fr@sriram3720 Hello Rhys, you’re definitely heading in the right direction.
Stay consistent, keep shipping, and your first online dollars will come sooner than you think.
And honestly, that feeling is one of the best (at any age).
Keep going 🙌
Six months ago, I learned the hard way that Gemini billing wasn’t real-time.
I made a small test on 4000 courses, expecting it would cost a few euros.
A few days after, the bill caught up: €130
I killed the job in panic.
Today, I’m doing it locally with Gemma4
API cost: €0. Just GPU on a M1 MacStudio.
So I opened the floodgates: indexing the entire Comidoc coupon catalog (60K courses).
Search, categories, internal linking, all getting smarter.
Yesterday, Codex was painfully slow.
Today, I’m talking into the void: best case, I get a transcription of someone else’s conversation. Worst case, nothing at all.
And WhisperFlow, my backup, probably relies on OpenAI APIs too, so same issue.
It feels so weird to type instructions again.

@GuiOSlab Thanks Guilherme 🙌 Onboarding felt smooth overall, nicely handled.
Only issue: at the very end, the founder page returns a 500 error for me:

Hope that helps
Happy to be founder #1 😄
@MikeAISales Fair point, but I’m on a MacStudio M1/32GB
I even rebooted it yesterday when things started crawling, so I don’t think my machine is the bottleneck.
Feels more like something on OpenAI’s side.
Anyway, I'll deal with it 😅
Anyone else feeling Codex has been unusually slow over the last 24h?
ie: I’m trying to fix a layout alignment issue and this run is already at 16 minutes.
Not sure what’s going on.
Is it just me, or are other builders feeling the same?
