#GirlPower#YouthVoices
Meet Tandie Sibanda, a young activist from Matabeleland North and a graduate of Amnesty International Zimbabwe’s Youth Power Action Training. ✊🏽
For Tandie, human rights have never been just an idea. As a gender equality advocate and participant in the Amplifying Girls’ Voices through Digital Arts programme, she has helped create podcasts, short films, and digital magazines that tell real stories from young people.
Through her work, she challenges harmful cultural norms, promotes Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), and creates spaces where young people can see themselves reflected in important conversations.
At the Youth Power Action Training, Tandie brought not only participation, but also experience, perspective, and a strong commitment to turning ideas into action. She believes young people should not only be included in conversations, but lead them.
At Amnesty International, we work with and for young people, empowering them to actively shape and drive human rights change in their communities.
#YouthPowerAction!
Happy International Women's Day!
We can all give our support to gain advancement for women and girls. As individuals, giving support means calling out stereotypes, challenging discrimination, questioning bias, celebrating women's success, and more.
When women thrive, we all rise.
#IWD2026 #GiveToGain
This Women's Month, we celebrate the power to give.
When we give our voices, our time, our solidarity, our support, and our courage, we do not lose.
We grow. We gain impact. We gain strength together.
So #GiveToGain!
Gentle reminder📌
Your health matters. Section 76 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe formally recognizes the right to healthcare, ensuring every citizen and permanent resident has access to basic healthcare services, including reproductive health.

Every 3 seconds, a girl is married somewhere in the world. This #IDG2025, we're standing with girls to say #EndChildMarriage. Join our movement and amplify girls' voices demanding their right to choose their own futures. 💍❌
#EndChildMarriage#IDG2025#DayOfTheGirl
As we count down to the International Day of the Girl Child, we’re reminded that harmful social norms continue to steal girls’ futures. It’s time to challenge these injustices and amplify the voices calling for change.
Empower a girl, and you empower a community.
Education, health, leadership, and opportunity for girls create a ripple effect that transforms generations.
