Amref Health Africa in Ethiopia, in collaboration with @FMoHealth, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation - @gatesfoundation, launched a $28 million project titled 'Integrated Health System Strengthening (IHSS)'. This initiative aims to enhance the availability and quality of health services across 50 woredas in Ethiopia (Afar, Amhara, Oromia, Sidama, and Somali regions), benefiting 5.3 million people. The official launch was led by H.E. Dr Dereje Duguma MD, MPH, State Minister for Health Services & Programmes, and marks a collaborative effort towards achieving universal health coverage (UHC) and improving health outcomes for all. #Amref4PHC

We are excited to have hosted the 2024 Kefeta Youth Leadership Fellowship in Nairobi! From June 17-21, 26 young leaders from 20 Ethiopian cities engaged in sessions on project management and experience sharing, gaining new insights and skills to address community challenges. The fellows also had enriching interactions with Amref staff, @AmrefStudents, and faculty, including a special session with our Group CEO, @daktari1, who inspired them with his life story. “Make the right choices to discover your potential.
