Normalize creating distance when you know someone's been speaking negatively about you. Anyone who's never experienced a heatwave in the UK thinks we're over reacting when we say how hot it is. It's not the same as other countries. The humidity is high and our houses are designed to keep the heat in. Our houses basically become air fryers and we don't have air con.

Before non-UK people chime in: our houses are built to retain heat, we don’t have AC and we are simply not built for this. Our houses get hotter than it is outside, but outside is also hot. We don’t have anywhere to stay cool or to be at a reasonable temperature.
