The Knicks, for a few thrilling weeks, reminded everyone that they are New York’s favorite team, with all five boroughs behind them — and Jalen Brunson is still processing it all. “I think the further I get away from it, the more I’ll realize what happened,” he said. https://t.co/lJn7tYgam1
Mitchell Robinson, dominant contested rebounding numbers…
Really mixes it up on the glass, not just grabbing easy boards. Rare combination of rebounding skill, want-to, size, and brute strength.
"I kept saying last year…'yo people are locked in differently this summer'…got so close…And I think we have a special chance to do something special again next year because–we're gonna enjoy this–but we're locked in. I've never seen such a locked in crew"
– Deuce McBride
June 25 is officially Mitchell Robinson Day in Louisiana.
The day honors the Knicks center, who grew up in Chalmette, Louisiana, following the Knicks' championship. 🌟
DEVELOPING: The Lakers will be one of the top suitors for Mitchell Robinson when free agency begins, per @ClutchPointsNBA.
Luka also said that he wants a 'A-tier' big man to play with earlier this summer. 👀

Knicks obviously have an inclination Mitch is likely to be gone, so my question is why not use a pick in the draft on a potential big? Obviously a draft pick can’t replace him, but have to start somewhere. They had plenty of options
I get it. The second apron is prohibitive far beyond the dollars. Tough decisions need to be made. But Mitch being the causality of it just absolutely sucks. One of the greatest stories in Knicks history. He should be one for life
