The students and staff are lucky to have such a wonderful school to attend. They had an opportunity to have a hands on experience to learn about various animals. So many skills are being learned(new vocabulary, kindness/gentle behaviors and taking turns). @PISDCalhoun@ProsperISD
John Calipari is right on this — allow one player transfer, after that, you have to sit out a year to transfer. We have guys playing for four different teams in four years. It’s beyond ridiculous and bad for the sport:
Thank you to our wonderful mystery readers Tricia Myrie and Kellis Webb for taking time out of your busy day to read to Prosper’s youngest learners. @PISDCalhoun@ProsperISD
Calhoun is the best place to be during the school year. We had a few special guest appearances 💚❤️ . I love where I work and play. #purposefulplay@PISDCalhoun@ProsperISD
Kids don’t need fancy supplies give them wrapping bows, paint, and watch the process art magic happen! They stamp, swirl, explore textures, and create masterpieces. It’s messy, sensory, creative fun and more about the experience than the final product #ProcessArt@PISDCalhoun
Today we used Slinkies to learn about words when we are comparing sizes. (Tall, taller , tallest, wide, wider and widest). The kids had so much fun and didn’t realize they were learning. #purposefulplay@PISDCalhoun@ProsperISD
Who knew that a reward “stuffy day” would bring up so many good lessons. We talked about the students animals having similarities and differences and sorting ! We had good conversations. @PISDCalhoun@ProsperISD#Calhounconnects
It’s amazing when admin gets involved and has fun with their students . I remember talking to Dr. Mullins while she was living on the East coast and telling her how good PISD is. Glad she made the move! 💚@ProsperISD
