Watching this transformed my year 13 lesson today. I've been struggling to get them to be brave enough to unmute. It was one of those moments where you feel utter joy because the lesson just worked. I even received emails from students telling me how much they enjoyed the lesson

Spot on & made me laugh. Yet put them in a breakout room & they'll chat enthusiastically to you 🤷🏻‍♀️ I've found the boys will unmute & talk but the girls wont, typing their answer in the chat box instead. I'll be threatening webcams going on if they don't start talking to me 🤣

Returning to work tomorrow as my maternity leave has ended. With a 2 year old and 8 month old, I'm keeping Nora Roberts advise in the forefront of my mind. When balancing work and home you are juggling balls. It's not just 6 balls, often it's 55 balls!
