Today I marched in a #Pride march for the 1st time. The experience of walking in @yorkpride alongside my @RailwayMuseum colleagues & witnessing the kindness & community of York ppl was unexpectedly profound: so while I process it all, here’s a very serious pic of us passing a pub

@LNER Hi! I'm travelling for work next month, and was unable to book a forward facing seat (travel sickness) - is there a way of doing this/amending the booking?
Another of these turned up today. Beachcombers keep finding them but we're not sure what they are. Various suggestions have been put forward - giant pin holder, knitting machine part, etc - but we've never found an exact match. Can anyone help?

360 free tickets, ready to be sent out to the 9 (!) food banks in Hounslow. This is not lost income for us, families choosing between heating and eating our not going to visit our Museum. But maybe a free day out will help in a small way.
Over time, the way we’ve travelled has changed, and so has the way we power our transport.
From using coal power to renewable energy, railways have not stopped improving since being invented.

Some of my friends and I overcommit to things, so we made "Saying No to Things" punch cards. If you say no to 10 things, your friends have to buy you an ice cream.
In a pilot study, we found participants both said no to more things and got more free ice cream.
Great to see the British Sign Language Bill pass its first hurdle in the House of Commons today, potentially leading to BSL being recognised as an official language.
Our Best Accessible Museum shortlist is doing great work to include families with children who have special educational needs and disabilities.
