thread of my graphics work so i can see myself progress :) most of what i post here will also be up in more depth on my bēhance: https://t.co/G82eQcpqcg
You’ll be at work talking to an older coworker like “we’ve had record heat & this is the first October Mt Fuji ever had no snow also it now gets so hot that animals just die en masse” and your coworker will be like “good! I love when it’s hot 😃 and hate when it’s cold 😡”
one thing i’ve realised is… if u like an outfit… u should repeat it how many ever times u want. go live ur cartoon character life. instagram & capitalism want u to believe otherwise so u buy more clothes
I always sound like a conspiracy theorist when I say this but things are not built how they used to be, i.e., made to last, made to be functional, etc., because of capitalism.
Most of the best design advice out there is the most boring.
And usually doesn't involve any shortcuts.
-- Craft takes time
-- Fundamentals > tools
-- Learn from history/books
-- Always be asking "why do I like this or not like this?"
-- Study how to communicate better
