Children themselves have little to fear, but there are wider harms to consider

There is no safe or unsafe, only balance of risks, harms and benefits

Summary: Young children seem significantly less susceptible, probably less likely to transmit. Less clear for teens. Schools mainly follow community trends, but secondary much higher risk than primary

@EMManchester @RCEMpresident @FASSGEM @RMCH_PED Yes Paediatrics. I think it’s useful though as means I can do other roles as a Paediatrician if I ever wanted to.
I am also on GP register too as did that first. Definitely not a straightforward route to PEM!

@EMManchester @RCEMpresident @FASSGEM I am working as a PEM consultant after CESR in 2018. My CESR is in Paediatrics (can only do subspec as a pre CCT). Can only be on spec reg for a subspec (e.g. pem/neonates) if have some training abroad. Got my post by doing pem non training grade and a supportive dept at Leic
