@OhRichard271 @RinoTheBouncer You are not wrong, but also you are not right either since iOS 17.4 it is possible to have third party apps and stores on the iPhone. Playstation doesn't have that. So the playstation store would be as much a monopoly as the app store was. It is less about losing 1/2

@BatchGaming Yes, Sony is basically forming a monopoly with getting rid of physical media. So either they open up for other digital stores and make sharing games with friends an option or I guess at least the EU will have a word with them.
