Sears is a classic cast of high paid arrogant management refusing to change with the times resulting in the demise of the corporation.

Sear, in 1893, started as a mail order retailor and continued that successful model until the 1993. Two years later, Amazon started a mail order business and Sears’s management refused to return to their original business model, and it ultimately destroyed the franchise.
