It totally sucks and we should train ourselves to do better and ensure the people were building comunity with &/or spending time around are more prepared and mindful and have a culture of caring.

Most ppl don't work on that. .

Its also something that requires cultural training tho, not shame.

They are engaged. The do actually (mostly) care.. somewhat.

Most ppl are not nearly as intrinsically helpful as they've convinced themselves unfortunately.

Im the guy that is immediately aware of the shock and freeze of these situations & strives to combat it.

Ppl feel like they are doing something right when they capture the scene because it makes them feel like part of a supportive group (bc ppl will talk & comment with them later) but it also makes ppl feel even more dissociation.

Literally I've been wired different through mostly violence & deep reflection.

Most ppl have not.

We have to LEARN to do better.

MOST people don't react in the moment the way they would with intention and thought.

We need experience to shape instincts.
