@SoupMagnets@MarkIHarrison The problem is, it should NOT be this hard in the US. Other countries properly label food and medicine and take this disease seriously. People like her making these jokes on big platforms are the reason things are so unnecessarily difficult for us in the US.
@SoupMagnets@MarkIHarrison If we were taken seriously, it would be funny. But when I have to take a PRESCRIPTION med, no one labels gluten, so I'm just screwed. Or restaurants say GF, but use the same pasta water and mixers. On airplanes, I can't eat anything, even the "GF" meals, even for 24 hour trips.
So the East Wing of the White House is destroyed, it can never be replaced, and trump can’t put his precious ballroom there either. But he *did* pocket $400M in bribes from his “donors” to build…absolutely nothing. If that doesn’t thoroughly enrage you, check your fucking pulse.
@DustinMckockOff@BinjyK@trixie_belden Yeah, I've been. You seem to be the only person on here who hasn't...
There's still time to delete how stupid you look😂
@DustinMckockOff@TABYTCHI@douglassmackey I had a cruise ship that stopped at Puerto Rico as a destination. It was lovely. Got to explore an old pirate fortress and the city was beautiful.
Just say you're dumb and have never left the country without saying you're dumb and have never left the country...
@elsewherelv@xevekiah Please don't have kids yet. Please grow up first. I realize this is a joke, but please don't have kids or put your partner through a pregnancy until you realize misogyny just isn't that funny. I really hope you're in your teens for the sake of any poor partner you might have.
@GigaBasedDad Because we're not eating "bread." What they ate 5,000 years ago is a completely different molecular structure than what we eat now.
Blame our big food corporations and wheat farmers.
@Sandy_BeeCandy@Ocean28blue@Cecilia70048892@Louis_Frood@cessonmute In the US, doctors hand it out like candy. I had so many high school friends on birth control for things like acne.
I was also given it as my ONLY treatment option for bad periods. For over 10 years. Turns out I had endometriosis and polyps and could have used REAL treatment.
@sparklymethpipe@cessonmute I was undiagnosed celiac for TEN YEARS despite complaining constantly to doctors (joint pain, fatigue, etc.). If I was tested for this disease when I was first anemic, I would not have long-term health complications I have now.
They test anemic men for celiac disease.
@cessonmute Was crying earlier because I got a hysteroscopy with NO PAIN MANAGEMENT. I've had endoscopies and a colonoscopy and just assumed the hysteroscopy wasn't with anesthesia because it wasn't needed (and I was told that). IT WAS NEEDED. If men, did this, it would have been different.
