Some women don't flirt with people.
They flirt with life.
They wear perfume even when no one is coming over.
They buy fresh flowers just because they like seeing them on the table.
They read books that make their coffee go cold.
They play music while cooking and turn ordinary evenings into something memorable.
They take sunrise drives with the windows down and no destination in mind.
They walk along the ocean barefoot, carrying their shoes in one hand and their worries in the other.
They dance while getting dressed.
They stop to watch sunsets.
They romanticize small moments most people rush past.
They understand something many never learn:
Joy doesn't have to be earned.
Beauty doesn't need an audience.
And happiness doesn't always arrive through another person.
Some women aren't waiting for life to become special.
They make it special.
There is something incredibly attractive about a woman who isn't searching for someone to complete her, because she's already deeply in love with her own existence.
Fall in love with life first.
Everything else becomes a bonus.
never be scared of being “too much” with me. call me five times because you miss my voice. send me a whole paragraph when i don’t answer quickly enough. text me random thoughts when you can’t sleep. grab my hand everywhere we go. sit ridiculously close to me. keep finding little excuses to touch me.
tell me you love me over and over again. be affectionate. be obvious. be clingy. i don’t want you constantly wondering whether you’re doing too much.
life is way too short to love someone halfway. if you love me, let me feel it.
Today, I coincidentally ran into an estranged old friend. We stopped talking 2years ago because her husband used to message me and make unwanted advances. When I told her about it at the time, she wasn’t supportive, so I suggested we end the friendship.
We stumbled upon each other in a boutique & She smiled, but I ignored her. When she said hello, we ended up having a short talk. She told me she wanted to discuss something, and I found out her husband had left her a few months ago for another woman and not a stranger, but a distant relative of hers.
I didn’t know what to say, so I said, “Well, I feel sorry for you, but I don’t know what to say.” She wanted me to unblock her number and everything, but I quietly ignored her.
I wanted to be more empathetic, but I was cold. wonder if I’m judging myself too harshly, but I feel like we don’t always have to be available to everyone.
finally coming to terms with the fact that as much as we want to keep people in our lives forever, we don’t have that right. some people are only meant to be in our lives for a certain season, and that’s okay.
Tahajjud performers don’t need to wait for miracles; rather, miracles wait for them. When Allah intends for something amazing to happen, He draws you toward Tahajjud. The power of Tahajjud is simply in the word “Kun” and nothing can stand in front of the strength of Tahajjud.
