@analyticsnerd One thing to watch out that causes the session_start event to not show up is when filtering a subproperty by a custom event param. To avoid blocking the event, the filter there should only use from a couple of native dimensions like page path, full page url, country, etc

@analyticsnerd Agreed. On the same note, what do you tell clients when they ask if they can use utms on external pointing links? Eg they work with a 3p site and the 3p wants to know the specific tagged campaign from the client’s site.
