That you go to church does not make u a Christian. It only makes u a churchgoer. Believing and accepting Jesus Christ as ur lord n saviour, then obeying and living ur life in line with his word does.
Today, we celebrate the strength, unity, and resilience of our great nation. May we continue to uphold the principles of freedom. #idclng#idclnigeria#democracyday
For those suffering from amnesia: just four months ago, the Islamic regime in Iran slaughtered over 40,000 people in only two days, for the sole ‘crime’ of protesting for freedom.
⚡️At least 49 civilians killed, over 280 missing, and the 101-year-old St. Gabriel Church burned down in deadly attack on Amhara and Orthodox Christian communities in Aseko Woreda (📍East Arsi Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia) between May 31st and June 3rd.
🔴 According to sources on the ground, armed militants carried out coordinated attacks against Amhara communities and followers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church across Teleta-Gabriel, Kuftena, Medhanealem, Bayo Kebele, and surrounding areas.
🔴 The attacks reportedly killed at least 49 civilians, left more than 280 people missing, and destroyed 234 homes, while large quantities of civilian property and livestock were looted. Thousands of residents were forced to flee toward safer areas, including Sunte.
🔴 Among the sites destroyed was the historic 101-year-old St. Gabriel Church in Teleta-Chefa, which was reportedly burned to the ground. Additional structures belonging to Kara-Kufta and Medhanealem church compounds were also destroyed.
🔴 Sources alleged that security forces failed to effectively intervene during the attacks and, in some cases, prevented local security volunteers from reaching affected communities. These allegations have been denied by the regime.
🔴 Religious leaders and affiliates of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church have condemned the violence and called for accountability, protection of civilians, and urgent humanitarian assistance for affected communities.

When I was Muslim, this realization shook me.
The Quran talks about Yahya (John the Baptist). It calls him noble, righteous, and pure, so at first it feels familiar and trustworthy.
But then it removes the entire point of his life.
It says “he prepared the way” then never follows up about that. I was left asking "prepared the way for who?”
Because John’s entire mission was to baptize Jesus and publicly declare Him as the Lamb of God. That moment at the Jordan River wasn’t just symbolic. Heaven opened, the Spirit descended, and God spoke: “This is my Son.”
That is the hinge of the entire Gospel. But the Quran skips it.
Of course, you have to ask why.
Because the moment you include that scene, you have to face what it means that Jesus is more than a prophet.
So Yahya is kept in the story, but his purpose is removed. The name stays to claim continuity, but the message is cut to avoid the person.
You can’t keep the prophet and erase what he was sent to announce.
Yahya’s voice was never meant to be muted. It was anointed to point to Jesus.
And once you hear, “This is my Son,” you don’t unhear it.
You either follow Him or reject Him, but you can’t pretend the message was something else.
When I criticize commercial banks, I do it because they are evil.
18 years as a contract staff. The CEO will be buying properties all over the world. No president can fix Nigeria without strong labour laws.
It's so unfair.
