hi, I'm Ananya, 23, a product manager in London
I like meeting people who are building stuff or work in product. been building a gym app called Lift on the side and I need people to try it and tell me what sucks.
if you're in London, I’m happy to grab a coffee:)
hey @AppleSupport@Apple, i'm trying to enrol in the apple developer program. the website gives me an unknown error and the developer app says enrolment isn't available for my apple account. i've submitted a support request. could you help me get this sorted?
have you added a website to your phone's home screen and actually kept using it like an app?
which one? or do you prefer downloading an app?

@ardent__dev It depends on whether it's B2B or B2C.
Mostly: friends and family, LinkedIn connections who can relate, and Twitter with hashtags.
Since you'll need feedback from your first 10 users, it's better not to spread yourself across too many platforms.
building lesson: 10 users will ask for 10 different features. the hard part is staying focused on who you're building for. put the rest in the pipeline and launch for the one problem you set out to solve

#fintech PM brain: every transfer is a tiny leap of faith.
#gym app brain: every set is a tiny leap of faith.
I’m just building things where people have to trust me
sorry @claudeai you can’t say it will take take 4 weeks to build a small feature 😂😭
What will be the difference between human and machine then?

PM brain: "Let's prioritise."
Builder brain: "What if it also had 10,000 features."
Currently building Lift, a free fitness app, and losing this argument daily.
As a PM I write specs for a living. As a builder I ignore them and ship whatever I want. Day 3 of building Lift, a free workout tracker, in public. Follow along?
Do you want to stay consistent with the gym?
I built Lift, a free fitness app:
📒 Remember what you lifted last week
👥 See who in your crew showed up
🎥 Learn any exercise with a how-to video
It’s in beta. Try it and tell me what you think

Building a fitness app is just doing a lot of reps on code while forgetting to do any reps on my body.
Lift: build your routine, log your lifts, free.
