This is a 14-post thread I was too busy to number.
My main point is that rewarding change is absolutely possible & worthwhile, but by patience and incremental habit adoption.
Glorifying “sweat,” offering shortcuts, demonizing or worshipping ingredients are all a dead end.
I am seeing “health content” on this platform and it is driving me insane.
I have done a lot of bio hacking and paleo and keto stuff. All that proves is that even BS will work for a while if it displaces more unhealthy habits.
But none of that did this:
“You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?” (Romans 2:22)
What if Paul is not accusing Jews of stealing from pagan shrines?
Jesus had already accused Jerusalem’s leaders of turning God’s house into a “den of robbers.”

The fact that some Protestants extol Charlemagne and Alfred the Great and don’t realize Elizabeth I was *at least* as much a Christian hero is just blindness.
“God helps those who help themselves” is not in the Bible.
But that does not mean it is anti-Biblical.

Very late to the game, but I just finished listening to @martyrmade’s Fear & Loathing in the New Jerusalem. Such a thoroughly researched, well done series, and a powerful, compelling ending. Highly recommended- don’t let the naysayers scare you away.
The traitor to America First currently and very temporarily occupying the White House is the one who is not a team player.
Alternatively, Massie is not Team Epstein. Feature, not bug.
The problem with Thomas Massie is that he’s not a team player.
He lets his own mind get in the way of the greater good of the party and we can’t afford that on tough votes.
He thinks he’s the main character when he’s not.
If I could vote in that primary I’d vote against him and for Ed.
