My Roblox account RUST_010 is STILL hacked. I'd really appreciate any help I could possibly get to get it back in my hands! I have some huge projects I've been working on that I've completely lost access to with the loss of the account.

This is absolutely unacceptable, Roblox. This is EXTREMELY dangerous.

Exploiters have figured out how to execute server-side Luau and modify Datastore - with Loadstring disabled?

This can cause irreparable damage and material loss to thousands of games.

The engineer responsible needs to be fired as they are a demonstrable security risk. A backdoor like this isn't something you "oops!" accidentally ship to production and it hasn't happened for several years.

As developers, we DEPEND on server-side code execution to be completely firewalled from underprivileged clients. The ability to modify Datastore is alarming to say the least. That level of access can bypass gamepasses & dev products, causing material loss. The fact this is happening absolutely confounds me.

So. If you are in ANY emergency situation — let’s say you park in your driveway, & only as you begin taking your groceries from the car, you see movement in your home that is supposed to be empty. And a broken window. You cannot drive away to somewhere safer to get help. Your car refuses.

Makes you wonder if something is happening behind the scenes…

I'd like to know why Roblox's own employees resorted to AI for the face conversions? Are they incapable of doing this work themselves? Not that it should be particularly difficult for a multibillion dollar company to find and hire competent people.

The failed dynamic conversions have sent ripple effects through Roblox like I have never seen before. Now I'm hearing talk about someone launching a lawsuit over the botched conversions.

REMINDER: Roblox is forcing creators of 2D static heads to update all of their heads to be dynamic, or have the item taken off sale. There are many creators that face losing significant income, or all of their income over this.

Roblox themselves cannot properly do the work they are forcing creators to do. Let that sink in. What the hell is going on at this company?
