Going round watching random games, then writing reports with too many words, that hardly anybody reads. Rather than a small readership, I prefer 'exclusive'.
@Michael_BHunter Do we really have a squad of quality players? We have a squad who get brushed off the ball easily, can't win a header in the opposition half, struggle to put a decent cross in, and get caught in possession far too often.
We are quite good at best, nowhere near promotion quality.
In the land of treacle mines, Sutton Common Rovers come unstuck in a tight game against Tadley Calleva, who clinch a home play-off finals place with a 2-0 victory.

@JRSRoyal1871@RCouhig@ToddTrosclair@catania_rick15 The guy came in with us looking down the barrel of relegation, and with pretty much the same group of players, has us higher than we probably should be. The team is very much a work in progress, but I guess people expect instant success these days.
The sun struggles to shine through as Sittingbourne struggle to get the goals they maybe expected against a rock bottom, but determined East Grinstead.

@Dubstep1988 Clubs played their full teams. No "squad rotation". It wasn't seen as a big thing though. The most telling indicator is that no tv station, not even TVS, even had highlights of the game. As an achievement though, it was amazing. Playing at Wembley was still 'special' then too.
Six goals, cheap beer (for Singapore), an old-style stand, and a great game as Albirex Niigata Singapore are floored by a last-gasp equaliser from the Lion City goalkeeper, in this Singapore Premier League match.

2nd time lucky, as I managed to visit Phnom Penh Crown after a failed attempt 6 years ago, to see the home side clinch a 2-1 win over local rivals Visakha.

@Josh56024482 @mitchrfc1 It's nothing new. I remember a game at West Ham when Chris Tarrant was in the away end, just after his marriage break-up was in the tabloids. There were fans moaning that he didn't look happy when they gave him 'banter' about it.
A much harder game than the score suggests, as Three Bridges overcome VCD Athletic 4-0. Nice sunset too, if you appreciate that kind of thing.

Late drama in the EIHL, as Guildford Flames (@flamesicehockey) score two late goals to beat Manchester Storm (@Mcr_Storm) 3-2, after losing 2-3 to them the night before.

More gloom than just the darkness for @CopthorneFC as they slump to an always likely-looking 15th defeat in 16 games against table topping @GodalmingTown#NonLeague#Groundhopping

@ReadingFC@webuildscore I hope it's better than ChatGPT. It suggested a best XI from our squad, and said we should play 'Harrison Knibbs' as a defensive midfielder, despite him not actually existing.
