🚨 NRM CEC sitting at State House Entebbe on Tuesday discussed:

1. Succession (M7 presented a paper)
2. Economy
3. Integration
4. Strong army
5. NRM house
6. Empowering party district leaders.

On succession, H.E M7 detailed the qualities of a leader he would wish to succeed him. A number of CEC members roger that CDF Gen. Muhoozi fits the qualities (patriot, Pan-Africanist, developmental etc). The Hajjati (Chairman office) opposed and openly asked if the CDF is being imposed on them. She raised her security concerns. Thoughtfully, President said the aspirations of the majority will prevail. CEC members have the copies of the succession paper.

ECONOMY: Prof. Balunywa and Hon. Echodu proposed that Bank of Uganda officials and Ministry of Finance technocrats be invited for the next CEC meeting to discuss the current situation (shillings, etc).

Joseph Kabila was president of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for 18 long years.

During that period, only four things increased in the DRC: Kabila’s age, Kabila’s personal wealth, the poverty rate among the Congolese and the number of civilians maimed, tortured and/or disappeared.

During his 18 years of tyranny, Kabila didn’t build schools, hospitals, roads, or factories. He did nothing at stop the ever-bleeding civil war.

And in his 18th year of the reign of terror, Kabila tried to forcefully change the constitution so that he could terrorize the Congolese for the rest of his life—until the people rose up and stopped him.

Kabila has now launched another armed militia in the DRC, seeking to dethrone a man he imposed on the Congolese before he was forced into retirement. Why? As a desperate attempt to stay out of jail or save himself from the hangman’s noose.

Rather than challenge his conviction in court, or use his international contacts to find a diplomatic solution, Kihika has resorted to violence. He prefers to sacrifice thousands of Congolese in a useless war for self-preservation rather than face the consequences of his criminal acts.

He can’t do for DRC now that which he failed to do for 18 long years.

The insurrection Kabila is fermenting in the DRC isn’t for the liberation of the Congolese from 65 years of neocolonial servitude. It is to institutionalize neocolonialism through civil wars, destruction and despondency.

Kenyans should watch Kabila closely because he seems to be working clandestine on with Despot Uhuru Kenyatta. They smuggle gold, diamonds and other precious Congolese metals to fund their self-aggrandizements in the DRC and Kenya.

Telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
