@IngiBroom @Adriane_BEd_ Great question Ingi. I think this could be a debatable question, depending on the kind of teacher perhaps? If you look at the resource @MedicoSophia shared, it says teachers are a cultural occupation but still fall under the liberal profession. Does anyone else have any thoughts?
@Ieva59235001@MedicoSophia Oh gosh yes Ieva! Texting, messaging of any kind the wrong person happens too many times! I can only imagine adding the layer of two different accounts can be challenging!
https://t.co/3QxceqSmlu #GM4Noon#EDST1160 I wanted to share this article as it connects both our topic and the profession most of us are heading to. I found the guidelines be easily understood, #1 seems to be the most important to me.
As I grew up in a generation that puts everything on social media and has suffered consequences for it. I think this course overall has been helping me to see what it can truly do to benefit my career. It might even make me create (and maintain) professional profiles!
#EDST1160 My takeaway from the Robinson (Becky) interview and reading were how social media opens more opportunities and that selecting the right "one" is important to consider for its use. I think social media in the professional world is something I am still trying to grasp--
@Cait__Johnson Personally, I have never been hired through my social media. However, I ask, is Indeed considered a social networking platform? I have a profile there and have been offered jobs through it, but I do not personally consider that to be social media.

@MedicoSophia I’ve heard too many horror stories where people mix up their professional and personal accounts! I know in Instagram you only need to double tap to chance accounts and this seems like something that could happen accidentally and POOF big trouble happens
@Adriane_BEd_ @MedicoSophia@ms_moretto Artist was one of the first things that came to mind as well as freelancers. My understanding is that it is a profession where people can be opinionated if that makes sense.
@1MariahThompson What group is this for? According to the assignment outline GM4s conversation is taking place on Twitter this week and the next two (GM5 and 6) will be LinkedIn :D
@MedicoSophia I do not have both kinds of accounts. I find managing multiple social media accounts to be challenging for me; I only have my personal account that I manage professionally, and ensure I only friend/share with people I know.
