The effects of the Ross fire have been awful to our community here in Parker, Jack, and particularly Palo Pinto.

I have coworkers with brothers and boyfriends cleaning up dead cattle, people struggling under smoke, and a youth team without baseball.

I guess I’ll do this now, definitely a high plains guy at heart but I also love the mountains and desert west. I don’t hate the east coast but it’s just never enticed me as much, Especially due to the weather.
