You know what is VERY funny about AfriForum, Solidarity, Common Sense and all their friends in Hermanus, Cape Town and North of Glenhove? They are excitable and analyzing @RonaldLamola 's UNGA activities in isolation. You would need to listen to ALL the speeches from today's session to understand the geopolitical posturing on the US. You have to REALLY hear what Heads of State, Prime Ministers, Presidents, are saying from the UN podium. South Africa's position at #UNGA81 must be seen in the context of the global push back against US Foreign Policy. From the EU, to South America, Asia to the Middle East, it is ubiquitous. South Africa's messaging and tone are not out of step with everyone else's. Only the domestic "baases" want RSA to say "yes baas" on the Global stage. The storm will be weathered. Stay steady. You don't bow down to a president with a record low of below 32%. You flex. You speak to allies. You renew your engagement strategy. The verkramptes at home will soon learn.
Prof Somadoda Fikeni is a national treasure.
He’s at the Madlanga Commission today, describing South Africa’s “political economy of inefficiency”.
The country is a “cemetery” for really good policy that is never implemented, he says.
There’s an “unwillingness” to implement.
Today's testimony at the Madlanga Commision is the most important for me, personally. Nothing bothers me as much as what he has termed the "Political Economy of Inefficiency".
This is holding back our country so much but unfortunately, there won't be any trending clips today.

Kempton Park SAPS have made 413 arrests for drug related crimes in the past year.
They don't enjoy the pleasure of having camera crews.
Now, I see there is some disinformation about this claiming gangs and and conspiracy. Yeah, no. I’m going not going to believe the rantings of a potential mass shooter or serial killer. This is what his neighbours said about his character:
“Karl Smith, a farmer and neighbour, said the community had endured 9 months of problems with Van Dalen. He is alleged to have opened fire on a neighbour’s car without warning, cut tyres, damaged a vehicle’s radiator, and repeatedly accused people of wanting to kill him. He reportedly wore a bulletproof vest and drove a bulletproof vehicle. When he opened fire on his neighbours, 2 women were left trapped inside their home for hours until the Special Task Force shot him. Another neighbour offered more context. According to this account, the CCTV clips Van Dalen posted, apparently showing police visiting him 2 months earlier, were not evidence of an assassination attempt. They were from an earlier visit, prompted by a different neighbour, after Van Dalen’s own cameras were found recording onto that neighbour’s property. On the Sunday he died, this neighbour said, Van Dalen refused to cooperate with the SAPS over the shooting complaint and chose confrontation instead, which is what escalated into the shootout. A third, unnamed neighbour summed him up in Afrikaans: Die man was ons buurman. Hy is siek in sy kop gewees.
More details. The how and why in what was a 24-hour standoff with a SAPS Special Task Force. He had terrorised Robertson residents for months.

Found it. Cornelius van Dalen had collected a large cache of weapons & had with him a kill list spanning 5 pages of people he considered “enemies of the Boervolk.” He was killed in a shootout with a SAPS in August.
THIS is the danger of white genocide & persecution disinformational narratives. It radicalises. It encourages violence.

The unfortunate part about this is that the rot we see in Ekurhuleni is a mirror because the exact same this is happening in all municipalities in SA.
I feel like we need to come up with a way of temporarily giving the SIU more powers & resources for the next 5 years.
A massive R58-million land fraud scandal has been uncovered in Ekurhuleni, with more than 200 vacant municipal stands in Villa Liza allegedly transferred into private hands without the City’s approval. Tune in to #eNCA on #DStv403.
@VuyiswaRamokgop@estupidez8@Chief_Dzata This reminds me of Dan Price & how after he raised the wages in his company to the then minimum wage, his employees could afford to live closer to work. Productivity improved, people started families/having babies etc. A holistic approach is needed.
@brainy_beaut@real_sinesipho Precisely. Remember, many of these surnames clan names are actual names of people that lived before. That's why you find that some surnames have common ancestors/clan names so, they cannot marry one another. Mnguni & Gumede for instance are one thing, so are Duma & Mseleku etc.

When I was listening to Dr. Mark Shaw's testimony on Wednesday, I got overwhelmed by emotions of sadness. To say depressed maybe is to use a strong word. I just became anxious and sad. I made only two posts and I stopped, continued listening but I couldn't engage on the information he was sharing.
What caused me profound sadness was the fact that he was confirming, with real data and statistics, the destruction, the decay of our country. We've always had suspicions that we seem to be heading the route of South Americas, Eastern European countries, the Mexicos, Colombias, countries run by gangs, mafias, drug lords, and that we were infiltrated, as a destination for drug trade by organized cartels from these countries working with organized grouping in our country. But to hear an expert confirming that to the Commission, just devastated me. 😭💔
I will gather strength to listen again and share the information he gave us.

Em… Eskom, sicela imoratorium on price increases. How much more of the rand value in units of electricity must we further lose before you realise these prices have reached crisis proportions?

Being a native South African is not easy man. It’s literally a constant fight for survival. Everyone wants a piece of South Africa while simultaneously pretending that this country is a shithole and the natives are terrible people.
