@theresaeaston @Siemens I think its very easy to hashtag everything #artswashing but its takes time and effort to understand the wider issues. Why does the arts rely on private funding and @ace_national? And why shouldn't private businesses support the arts sector?

@theresaeaston @Siemens The lack of engineers is a complicated question. There are lots of organisations/universities encouraging ppl to get into that sector & @Siemens is a big employer with a good reputation. Good question, why does the arts always rely on others for funding?

@altgetnorth2018 @theresaeaston @Siemens There is a massive shortage of electrical engineers in this country, I know I work in the engineering sector, if this encourages kids to get into it great! Also @Siemens has a great track record of supporting the arts way before GEOTN
