@50StepsStudio Were you involved with Evidence That Demands a Verdict? If so, thank you! I accepted Jesus as my savior while reading it, the book sitting open on my lap and my eyes filled with tears. Changed my life forever!
@DThurman7 Lifting Mike up in prayer! As a fellow cancer fighter, I'd love to send Mike a copy of my devotional Incurable Faith for his birthday. Just message me & let me know where to send it! 🥳📖 🎁
@SamObiWon Praying for you, your wife, son, and precious family. Tell your son that a sister in Christ who is a three-time cancer-survivor (in treatment now) is covering him in prayer. Jesus is a faithful shepherd through these dark valleys.
@HSRdirector Incredibly insightful and true for many of us with chronic illness, too. (Read "Homebound" and "Mammon Isn't My Friend" in Incurable Faith.) Blessings to you and your son!
This remark is pure evil, and I'm sorry it was directed at you. No one likes enduring aggressive chemo (mine was for NHL) but treatment allowed me to live long enough to see my son graduate from high school, my daughter from college, and realize my dream of becoming a published author. God bless you and your life-giving work, @marklewismd.
@KSPrior Congrats! It feels so good to meet writing goals and bless others with your cooking talents all in one day. (I'm glad to hear you got in a nap!)
@marklewismd Thank you for all you do to fight for the best treatment for your patients! Like your dad, those injections helped save my life multiple times during repeated hospitalizations for (NHL) neutropenia.
This is true, but may I add another? Many people focus on possessions to avoid loneliness, particularly during debilitating health challenges. While homebound, I learned this: The appetite for material objects is a never-ending hunger that keeps me from the feast.~From "Incurable Faith"
@CaptScrub@birdchadlouis I’d like to invite you to check out my book Incurable Faith: 120 Devotions of Lasting Hope for Lingering Health Issues. I pray it will encourage and equip you to persevere.🙏
