@ugnead@gregisenberg@kloss_xyz For something as complex as LLMs, self-hosting is not yet easy or economical. Cost has never been the reason to self-host LLMs
I think it's a step in the right direction with self-hosting the agents / interfaces and just call an inference endpoint. Easier to change providers
@esthercrawford Agree. I've done it 2 times.
The saying "go fast, go alone, go far go together" is really true here. You move so fast as a single founder but you become the bottleneck when it comes to the amount of work. But that's not that big of a problem anymore with AI. I say that as a dev

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.

That means this gets more complicated with shared folders, for the family.
That's still TBD
We just added kimai to the store 🎉
kimai is an amazing time tracking app, fully open source, and has a lot of great features for time tracking, invoicing, etc
It can be accessed at: kimai.local

I played around with it a bit and it has a lot of features.
There is a bit of a learning curve, but not too bad.
For example you can't create a project if you don't have a customer. So mostly focused on tracking paid work.
