A major milestone for Bitcoin Suisse. Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG has received its MiCAR license from the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority. We're now a licensed Crypto Asset Service Provider and will soon serve clients across select EEA markets.
After our Asset Management License in Bermuda, another huge step towards becoming a truly global wealth management platform.
Thought I'd share a few words on what it took to get here and what comes next.
Today represents one of the most significant milestones in Bitcoin Suisse’s history.
Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG has received its MiCAR license from the Liechtenstein FMA. Licensed Crypto Asset Service Provider, soon serving clients across selected EEA markets.
Together with our Asset Management License in Bermuda, another step closer to becoming a truly global wealth management platform.
Almost every bank in Germany offers crypto now. So why are we entering that market?
Because the more institutional the client, the wider the gap between what's available and what they actually need. 13 years of building crypto infrastructure is not the same thing as adding it to a product shelf.

The World Venture Forum surprised me with the Unicorn Award of Excellence last night in Kitzbühel.
I think the real story is what comes next. Building @BitcoinSuisseAG into a global crypto wealth management platform. That part is just getting started.
Portfolio construction, the AI talent war, and whether institutions can actually operate inside the framework MiCAR built.
I was on stage at the World Venture Forum yesterday alongside Bernhard Wenger from @21shares and Ariel Navarro from Whale Capital to cover those critical topics.
BTCS (Middle East) Ltd. has received its Financial Services Permission (FSP) from the FSRA of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
From Zug to Bermuda, the EEA and now Abu Dhabi in 13 years tells you how fast institutional demand in this industry has gone global.
Ceyda Majcen will lead the operation as Chief Executive Officer, having led the development of our presence in the Middle East for years now.
The focus now shifts to what matters most: tangible value for clients.
We added a Revenue Dashboard to this month's Industry Rollup.
I think the industry has been too slow to talk about protocol revenue.
DEXs generating real cash flow while memes bleed out probably tells you where the market is headed. Link to our Industry Rollup in the reply 👇
Over 100 people in our new offices last night. The people who matter most to us: our clients.
Good conversations, good energy, and a chance to mark a milestone that feels overdue. Between the MiCAR license, the Bermuda approval, and everything the team has been building behind the scenes, there hasn't been enough time to stop and actually celebrate with the people we do this for.
Many of the conversations had nothing to do with markets. People talked about what they're building, what they're planning, where they see things going. That's the part of this job I value the most. The relationship doesn't stop at the trade. It starts there.
We've always believed that proximity to our clients is what separates us from platforms that scale through distance. A screen can execute a transaction. It can't read a room, and it can't build trust over years. That only happens in person, repeatedly, consistently.
Thank you to everyone who came.
It was an honor to have @adam3us visiting our Zug offices in June.
He joined @gerramirez and @w4vitale to talk quantum migration, treasury companies vs ETFs, and why Bitcoin is a discovery, not an invention.

After receiving dual pre-operational approval from the Bermuda Monetary Authority, the head of a new crypto firm is calling the island “a world-class risk management ecosystem”.
Andrej Majcen, cofounder and group chief executive of the firm said the ... https://t.co/zCDJaFYpkk
Crypto fundamentals have arguably improved over the last six months, but the price doesn't reflect that. The answer is probably simpler than it looks: risk capital has somewhere else to go.
Compare AI valuations to the dot-com era from their defining moments. The Nasdaq hit 80x earnings before March 2000. We're well below that. The attention cycle pulling capital from crypto probably has more room to run.
Speculative cycles always cool eventually, though. And when allocators start looking for the next asymmetric bet, what they'll find underneath is a very different industry than the one they left.
@KevinWSHPod@hosseeb Five years ago the first question was always "is Bitcoin safe?" Now it's about allocation size and custody structure. That shift probably tells you more about where Bitcoin is than the price does.
210 out of 1,200+ EU crypto firms have their MiCAR license. Deadline is in two days. No extension. The response to our announcement last week makes more sense in that context.
Thank you to the team - and everybody who believed in us.
Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG has received its MiCAR license from the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority. After our Asset Management License in Bermuda, this marks another huge step towards becoming a truly global crypto wealth management partner.
Here's what comes next.
