Yesterday someone used my open source project to phish 14k people. There were no vulnerabilities, no hacking, just someone signing up 942 times and sending invites to workspaces with suspicious crypto links as their names.

Woke up to Resend telling me I hit my daily email quota.

I didn't send any emails.

Someone signed up for @usekaneo, named their workspace a bitcoin scam, and abused our invite flow to blast it out, from MY verified domain. Real DKIM, real SPF, free delivery, my bill.

Looking back isn't that bad sometimes. I checked how @usekaneo looked almost a year ago and honestly… it caught me off guard.

When you're deep in it every day, it's easy to miss how much things actually change. What started as something rushed, rough around the edges, and barely working now feels like a much more mature product.

But this is far from my work only, the real heroes is everyone in the community who helped me in this journey. And I still feel like this is just the start of the project, I can't wait for what's coming up next!
