Why are people trying to defend the QB1 decision by saying we should trust Todd Monken and he knows what’s best?

Both Monken and Deshaun Watson have stated multiple times that this would be and was an organizational decision.

Watson on Saturday:
"The organization, Jimmy and Dee, AB and Coach Monken, is going to make that decision for the organization."

Monken on Monday:
"I think any major decision is an organizational decision…We talked about it. We had conversations about it, and we landed on this."

Stop listening to people running cover for this organization making the next in a long line of poor decisions. Even if Monken truly did want Watson to be QB1, the decision was never his alone to make.

Deshaun Watson doesn't really have the arm strength to overly threaten defenses downfield these days, the mobility is pretty far away from prime levels following the two Achilles tears, and the accuracy isn't consistent, especially on the move. BUT the entire fanbase hates him.
