Is GenAI primarily for large companies with deep pockets? A question I keep hearing from executives in SMEs.Our answer is no, not necessarily. On the contrary...
Reggie the Lion, the beloved mascot of King’s College London, turns 100 this month, and earlier this year he became a foray for using artificial intelligence in the classroom https://t.co/Hi6oHzLgbK

We are super excited to put this out into the world with @Conor_A_Walsh and @sharatganapati.
It’s the result of a long effort to think about the origins of the urban-biased growth that has been reshaping our politics and society for the last 40 years.
A little thread 🧵
@SolomonKurz If age is one of your main explanatory variables, or you believe young participants to be sig. different in your main predictors a solution could be to repeat all analyses with stratification within age bins, (so you keep the age variance compared with just binning). (2/2)
@SolomonKurz d) Nice to see the community discussing many different approaches. Think it boils down to if you want to increase interpretability (potentially transform), predictive power (optimise residuals out-of-sample) or are worried about e.g. generalisability because of age effects (1/2).
@thuyvytnguyen Maybe the literature on person-environment fit could be relevant? Fascinating work includes e.g. Bleidorn on person-city fit or Jokela on regional personality-life satisfaction https://t.co/IK6NkiPuhN https://t.co/v1I6ZURp4Z
@JessieSunPsych I don’t think it works post-hoc unfortunately, but I normally use Word’s Cross Ref function so they automatically update when I move things around/add additional tables later on (https://t.co/UAxtAupR4p)
Read @micvecch & @C_Robinson501's blog published today which brings together the various threads explored in ESCoE's recent workshop on human capital 'Exploring Skills & Education' with @ONS
