@DJSnM Just watched it, and learned that even in a sun-synchronous orbit, there will be short periods without sun when the satellite flies near the pole that is in winter. So, maybe some batteries would be needed in a data center constellation.
@DJSnM In a sun-synchronous orbit with 24/7 solar power, batteries are not needed. And, for those folks worried about not having humans there to fix things, I think that SpaceX knows a thing or two about operating in space. These will be modified Starlink V3 satellites.
