@AugustaGolfGirl “Fired those responsible” kind of like how callaway cut ties with those who are responsible of the ad? Not 1:1 but like really?
And CEO of GG vs CEO of callaway wayy different. You gotta be able to make time to see an ad for a DRIVER w your biggest sponsor before it is sent.
@BenColeyGolf Sounded too good to review content. CEO of GG vs CEO of callaway, different breed. And yeah the parallels of firing them and callaway cutting them… well interesting
@Timcast Yeah you can not do both, that is the problem
With the apology. You admit guilt. Now you are saying you were set up. Doesn’t really make sense now does it?
@hugh_day_@Conley76 Good good came up with the ad concept and pushed it through to callaway. Callaway didn’t force them to do that exact ad. Sure they were the sacrifice but they have blame in this. Callaway surely was looking for an out w them. And this fell into their lap
@PhillyRed5@PGATUOR He said we are responsible for what they put out. They could’ve scrapped the ad before callaway ever laid eyes on it. They aren’t innocent in this. Both parties are to blame.
it’s 2026, people are sensitive, this was always gunna blow up. Any awareness this doesn’t happen.
@PhillyRed5@PGATUOR They were definitely the sacrificial lamb. My point is that it contradicts his apology. They weren’t held at gun point and told to make this specific ad. He is sorry they got caught and now playing victim
