Yann LeCun says LLMs are strongest in domains where language itself is the substrate of reasoning, like math and code
They can solve problems, prove theorems, and write programs — but they are not creative mathematicians, software architects, or computer scientists
"their role is to help humans build"
Great look why an NVIDIA 16-pin adapter can fail.
Clearly a QA issue at the adapter's supplier. The 16-pin spec states crimped, not soldered termination points. What a mess.
16-pin PSU cables we have from Silverstone, Corsair & be quiet! use crimped terminals, not this crap.
Just used Mark Cubans new pharmacy because I’m currently uninsured… 30 day supply of three medications was only $35. It would have been $200+ at a regular pharmacy
Remembering concepts is more important than remembering syntax imo.
It only takes a minute to look up syntax and tools like CoPilot make it even easier.
Also, focusing more on what is happening and the fundamentals will make it easier to learn new languages.
It's wild what prisoners ACTUALLY do w/contraband phones vs. what prisons fear they'll do. I just talked to a guy who's using his to teach other guys computer science
"We’re using Harvard’s CS50 materials," he said. "That professor @davidjmalan, I think he’s one of the best."
@FabvLMusic@bloomgums With no exaggeration, and I don’t know if I’m going to get flak for this, but even though I’m generally not into the heavier side of music, from what I’ve heard so far, I’d take an album like this over Skillet’s Dominion release or Rise Against’s releases recently, for my tastes.
@FabvLMusic@bloomgums Yeah man, I mean I liked the Heathens & Throne albums from Smash Into Pieces. I’ve also liked a fair amount from Rustage. Plus, there were earlier drops this year and last that were solid from you. Zach B’s My Time was great. FFDP’s been good.
This one though, this is different.
Imagine being Uber and making everyone do tough code challenges for a job only to have your admin passwords hard coded on a script that can be accessed by phishing one person.
