"WE WILL KILL TRUMP."
That message has been displayed on massive banners and signs as thousands gather for slain Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's burial ceremony in Iran.
The crowd repeatedly vowed revenge for Khamenei's death, with signs also threatening Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The threats and calls to avenge Khamenei come after he was killed in Israeli strikes in February, which also reportedly killed several family members and wounded his son, Iran's current leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.
The EU is giving away €365 million to help build and modernize Morocco’s transport infrastructure, including €300 million for motorways, €50 million for railways, and a €15 million EU grant for climate-resilience measures.
European Investment Bank President Nadia Calviño also said the bank expects to channel more than €700 million into Morocco in 2026, calling the country a "strategic partner" for the EU.
Meanwhile, European transport organizations are warning that the EU's own infrastructure is chronically underfunded, urging Brussels to raise the Connecting Europe Facility budget to at least €100 billion because demand for funding far exceeds what is currently available.
For example, the Netherlands alone faces an €80 billion infrastructure funding gap through 2039, and its government is reportedly preparing cuts to road, waterway and rail construction and maintenance because of budget shortfalls.
Dutch officials warn projects may be cut, maintenance delayed, and bridges, viaducts and roads could face longer closures, while the country needs around €280 billion by 2040 to get its infrastructure in order.
With Iran's military capabilities and proxy network weakened, Israeli officials increasingly see Turkey as the region's next strategic challenge. Netanyahu's push against F-35 sales reflects that shift.

Ahmed Yetib, a Moroccan-born teacher of Catholic religion in Charleroi, Belgium, says he was subjected to a wave of online threats and abuse after students discovered his TikTok account, where he discusses both Islam and Christianity.
Born into a Muslim family, Yetib converted to Catholicism in 2018. He says his family immediately cut all ties with him because of his conversion.
Fearing for his safety, Yetib arranged media interviews away from his school to avoid being recognized. He said he had "never felt so worried," with the ordeal reminding many of Samuel Paty, the French history teacher who was beheaded by an Islamist extremist in 2020 after showing caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad during a lesson on freedom of speech.
🚨 WOW! In a power move, Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent just slapped MAJOR SANCTIONS targeting Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei

"Treasury will continue using every tool at its disposal to isolate him and other regime elites from the global financial system. We will preserve these assets for the Iranian people."
The sanctions have been levied against an Iranian financial facilitator who has "effectively institutionalized large‑scale embezzlement within the Iranian regime, diverting publicly funded wealth offshore"
They also target "key Iranian exchange houses that move BILLIONS of dollars annually on behalf of sanctioned Iranian banks"
HE'S CHOKING THEM OUT!
BREAKING: Israel has shared intelligence with the U.S. indicating Iran recently devised a new plot to assassinate President Trump, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The warning comes as Iranian leaders and demonstrators have continued to publicly call for retaliation against Trump over the 2020 strike that killed Gen. Qassem Soleimani, with chants and signs calling for his death seen at recent public events in Iran.
Despite the alleged threat, the Trump administration is continuing diplomatic efforts with Tehran while making clear it is prepared to respond if Iran escalates further. | @MikeTobinFox
